These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SkinForge website and skin-generation service at skinforgemc.org and api.skinforgemc.org (the "Service"), operated by SkinForge ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
SkinForge turns images into Mojang-signed Minecraft skin textures (a signed value and signature) and provides an API and dashboard to manage this. Features, limits, and pricing tiers may change over time.
You agree not to use the Service to generate, upload, or distribute content that:
We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
Important: if you link or donate a Minecraft account to the generation pool, that account will be used to upload and change skins automatically. This changes the account's skin and involves automated activity that may be contrary to Mojang's terms and can result in the account being flagged, rate-limited, or suspended. You link or donate accounts entirely at your own risk, and only accounts you own and are authorised to use. SkinForge is not responsible for any action taken by Mojang or Microsoft against such accounts.
Access is metered by API key and plan tier, including per-minute/per-hour rate limits and concurrency caps. You agree not to circumvent these limits. Paid plans, where offered, are billed as described on the pricing page; features and prices may change with notice.
You retain ownership of images you submit. You grant SkinForge a limited licence to store, process, and transmit those images and the resulting skins solely to operate and provide the Service (including uploading them for Mojang to sign and caching results).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that generation will always succeed, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that results will meet your requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkinForge will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, accounts, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that poses a risk to the Service or its users.
SkinForge is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang AB or Microsoft. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang AB.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
