SkinForge runs on a pool of community-donated Minecraft accounts. The more accounts back the forge, the more skins we can safely generate — and the moment we hit a healthy pool, paid plans open for everyone.
A Mojang-signed skin can only be minted by a real Minecraft account changing its own skin — that's what makes it work on vanilla clients.
Mojang lets an account change its skin roughly once a minute. So the pool's total throughput scales directly with how many accounts back it — more accounts, more skins per minute, safely.
Paid tiers promise real rate limits. We only open them once the pool can comfortably back those limits — so nobody ever pays for capacity that isn't there.
SkinForge is built by the Anonventions community. Donated accounts keep it running at near-zero cost, which is exactly why our plans land well under the alternatives.
Until we hit the goal, everything runs on the free tier. When plans open, your free key keeps working — nothing you rely on breaks.
Donate a Minecraft account to the pool. It signs in once (device-code, no password shared), joins the generation pool, and you can remove it anytime.
Donating changes that account's skin when it generates. Only add an account you're okay with that on — see our Privacy Policy.
